Behringer does it again with this great headphone distribution station. I was using a Rolls and found it could not handle even half of it's capacity. The HA4700 is amazing. Very versatile and clean sounding. Every studio should have one.

Bellari HA 540 Class A Tube Headphone Amp Review

Bellari HA 540 Class A Tube Headphone Amp
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Though I'm the satisfied owner of a Fiio E9 headphone amp, I own Ultrasone PRO750 headphones which are much like Grados only with more robust bass. The Ultrasones sound dry on some recordings, so when I found the Bellari HA540 Class A tube headphone amp at a steep discount, I purchased it. Since my integrated amp has two tape loops, I can connect the Fiio and the Bellari simultaneously.
The Bellari is manufactured in the USA by a division of Rolls. Readers might be familiar with Rolls through their HA43PRO headphone amp, which is often used to connect to the RCA outs of a TV. The Bellari uses one tube, a 12AX7, which is very common and easily sourced. Rather than use the stock tube, I purchased a Mullard. I'll only use the stock tube to fill in when I need to get another.
The Bellari is a Class A amp, but is barely warm to the touch. It's an OTL design: there's no output transformer. In practical terms, that means your headphones are providing the load on the tube. Headphones with too low an impedance could overdrive the amp. A headphone amp is the perfect application for an OTL design because headphones rarely have impedances as low as loudspeakers, which are mostly in the 4 to 8 ohm range.
The lowest impedance headphones I own are the Denon AH-D2000 at 25 Ohms, and the Bellari can handle it--but that's about as low an impedance as I'd want. The Ultrasone PRO 750 isn't very efficient, but the Bellari has lots of gain--it can drive the Ultrasones into pain territory without trying. It has two gain settings: a low setting for iPods, and a high setting for typical line out devices like CD players or the tape loop of a preamp, integrated amp, or receiver. The low and high designations refer to the input voltage, iPods having lower output than CD players or tape loops.
My expectations for the Bellari were more than met: it adds liquidity to the Ultrasones. I'm not into tubes per se, but it's a synergistic combination. This isn't a fuzzy warm tube sound--the Bellari has some real kick, with subterranean bass. The OTL design has a very clear, open sound, and if you've never heard an amp like this, your first impression will be how different it sounds from solid-state designs.
My only criticism of the Bellari is that the headphone out jack is located on the rear of the amp, but you can reach it easily, so it's not a problem. If you want to experiment with a tube amp, you may find the Bellari HA540 a perfect introduction.

Rockman Bass Ace Headphone Amplifier Review

Rockman Bass Ace Headphone Amplifier
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I just got the Rockman Bass Ace last week and have had a chance to play with it for several hours. In that time I'm decidedly lukewarm about recommending it too highly.
I'm 44 and I play the bass in a very progressive church with music that ranges from heavy rock to funky gospel to nice slow worship music. We have a great sound system and I use pro-quality equipment so I place a premium on high fidelity tone. I bought the Bass Ace so I can plug in my Ipod and practice along with the upcoming week's music without bothering my family.
I've owned a number of headphone amps in the past including a Boss HA-5 Play Bus (which I still have) and an original Tom Shultz Rockman Guitar model (long gone). I also sometimes use the headphone-out option on my Line 6 Pod XT Live. Incidentally, the Guitar Rockman was great as long as you wanted to sound EXACTLY like Boston. The XT Live produces the the best tone overall but it is not very portable. The Boss is easily the best portable headphone amp of the group for bass even though it's designed for guitars and it's over 20 years old. But I a bass-centric unit...
At this point you're probably familiar with the specs and basic attributes of the Dunlop Rockman Bass Ace so I'll skip to my impressions.
PRO'S
Price: Overall, the Rockman is not a bad unit for the price.
No power switch: The amp comes on when you plug the bass in and goes off when you unplug it. No switch to forget - just remember to unplug it after use each time.
Bass tone: With decent headphones (see below) and some tweaking the bass tone produced by the Rockman is not bad - definitely usable. That said, compared to the Line 6 and the Boss listed above it is clearly the worst of the three.
CONS
Auxiliary Input Tone: When I did an A/B comparison with my Ipod direct into the headphone and then through the Bass Ace, the tone through the Rockman was MUCH worse than direct. On other headphone amps I've used the AUX input was very transparent and sounded virtually identical to the direct line. The AUX input on the Rockman sounds muffled. Very disappointing. Also, the input jack is a 1/4" meaning you need to have a converter to plug in your Ipod. I suppose that is a personal preference.
Headphones: The headphones that come with this unit are virtually unusable. I have a set of mid-priced Sennheisers and in an A/B comparison the difference is incredible. The elcheapos that come with the Rockman buzz and distort at even the lowest volume. Push them a little and the tone is unbearable.
Size: This thing is HUGE compared to other headphone amps. Based on the weight (it's relatively light) it must be mostly empty space so I can only assume that the Bass Ace was purposefully made larger than necessary in order to give it gravitas. This thing is the size of a small cigar box. The result is that it feels cheap and hollow and it's too big to comfortably hang on your belt or on the guitar strap like I've done with other units.
EQ: This is a con because there is no real EQ. I never have a problem getting excellent tone out of my Warwick Thumb but I had to tweak the EQ on my bass dramatically to coax a decent tone out of the Rockman. The Bass Boost function is useless. To me it seemed like less of a boost and more of a scoop. Engaging the Bass Boost actually reduced the bottom end. The Treble Boost function improved the tone somewhat (after I rolled back the treble settings on the bass) but introduced a serious hiss. I got used to it but overall what you get is what you get with this unit. There are no effects, delays or reverb. Also, there is no Drive or Gain option. That's fine with me since I like a fat, clean tone but don't expect to be able to dial in monster tone if you bass doesn't have it already.
Name: Bass Ace? Really? That's the best they could do? C'mon Dunlop. Haven't you ever heard of a focus group?
Summary:
Overall, this is not a particularly high quality unit compared to the Tom Shultz equipment I've used before. I would imagine that he is disappointed in the unit bearing his name. That said, what can you expect for this price point.
If you want excellent headphone tone out of the box or if you want a unit that serves double duty as a pre-amp to run direct into a PA, keep looking. This lo-fi amp is not going to make the cut.
If you need a cheap, portable, easy to use headphone amp to practice with then you might be happy with the Rockman Bass Ace as long as you pick up a good set of headphones to go with it. NOTE TO DUNLOP: Get Tom in with the guys at R&D and design a serious bass DI with a headphone out option with the following features:
>XLR Line Out
>1/4" Line Out Dry
>1/4" Line Out Blended
>1/8" Headphone Out (Blended Only)
>Gain (Punch)
>Treble (Top)
>Bass (Bottom)
>Presence (Attitude)
>Blend (wet vs. dry signal)
>Output Level (also controls headphone volume)
>Ground Lift Switch
>Active/Passive Switch
Put in a metal box in a color other than black and work up a better name. Price it at $199 and offer it as a DI/Headphone amp combo that sounds better than a C Tech and offers more options than a Sansamp. You'll rack up.
IMHO

Tascam CD-BT2 CD Bass Trainer Review

Tascam CD-BT2 CD Bass Trainer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been playing guitar and bass for almost 50 years. This product is just plain an excellent tool for figuring out bass parts and practicing bass. I recently had to learn the bass parts for a 40 minute set. The Tascam CD-BT2 made it so much easier. In my earlier days we had to learn the parts off the vinyl---which is not easy. I've seen reviews of this product which are so petty and uninformed I can't believe it. The fidelity of the unit when the song is slowed down is not as good as normal speed--but it's quite adequate and excellent for catching fast or tricky runs. The unit is also very easy to use. I've barely had to use the manual. I would advise that you purchase the power adaptor. Alkaline batteries last only about 5 hours.

Tascam MPGT1 Portable MP3 Guitar Trainer Review

Tascam MPGT1 Portable MP3 Guitar Trainer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Ok, I will do my best to answer everyone's questions that aren't asked here yet, in which I also had before I purchased this item. This trainer is just amazing. It helps you out in so many ways. First off, this CAN be used simply as a portable amp, exactly as the "Dean Stack in the Box". I know I'm not reviewing that item, but I would like to give some information about it. The Dean stack in the box is a great portable headphone amp. It has great volume, great distortion, and most of all (in which no one else covers) it carries through great pinch harmonics great. Unlike the portable pignose amp, where it does not carry through pinch harmonics one bit. The Dean in a box though can be a pain changing the 9v battery, which can lead to the wires breaking, wich is what happened to me. It was still an amazing product though, with amazing sound, and amazing pinch harmonic carry through.
Now, with that said, it leads me to this. THIS guitar trainer, has GREAT sustain also, and carrys through pinch harmonics just like a normal amp, and jsut like dean in the box. They will not die out like the pignose amp. Also, it has a rechargeable battery in it, so there are no wires to rip off, like dean in the box while changing a battery. This is also built like a tank. Super tough and durable. Makes you want to take good care of it right away. The rechargable battery on it also lasts a long time. I would say well over many many hours.
I want to clarify what exactly the guitar cancelling feature does. It does not cancel the guitar out, so you can substitute your own. It instead pushes all other sound (vocals, drums, etc) into the background (which is dim but still heard) while the guitar in the track shines through so you can hear it clearly and study it more, note for note. Let me tell you, it works very very well. Like one reviewer said, you do hear wayyy more than you have heard before. And this is coming from me, a guitarist of many years, whom has an ear for music, and picks up on every single note and plays by ear. I was even very amazed.
I will now do the best I can to break everything down into all the positive parts of owning this trainer, as there are no disadvantages that I have found:
* This trainer CAN be used as a portable headphone amp, without any song playing in the background, and it does have many amp effects, from clean, to overdrive and distortion for metal (which I play). It has great affects like reverb, chorus, flanger, overdrive, etc.
* Is not cheap, like other portable devices, so no wires will break off changing batteries, since you simply dont have any batteries to change.
* Built very strong and durable.
* It DOES let you create sub-folders, so you can put entire folders into it and sort by artist or albums, instead of having one long list ot a thousand tracks.
* Guitar cancelling feature (as described above) works fantastic.
* While playing a track, you can adjust the volume of the track playback, and your guitar volume, so if the track volume, or guitar volume is higher than the other, you can equalize them at the same volume, or make your guitar volume louder, or the track volume louder.
* You can slow the track speed down 50%, which is amazing. You can also keep the pitch the same, so whether you speed the track up or slow it down, it wont sound like a chipmunk, or someone from a horror movie. It keeps the original tone. You can, however, turn this function off.
* You can turn the pitch up or down, so if it is in standard e tuning, you can chance the tuning of the song. Although it WILL NOT drop all the way down to drop d tuning or anything like that, it still works great.
* You can quickly pick a start and stop point for it to start looping, so if there is a solo, or any part like that, that you want to keep going over and over until you learn it, you can loop it.
* You can create a playlist, just like on an mp3 player.
* This can be used as an mp3 player (although I never would, since it's expensive, and I never want to break it.
* Has a ton of storage. About 900 MB worth (actually a hair more.
So all in all, this trainer is simply amazing! It does exactly what it says it does, and a whole lot more. Even if I didn't need it for a trainer, but was simply looking for a portable headphone amp for travelling, I would easily choose this over dean stack in the box or anything else. I was not disappointed one single bit. I love this thing.
Hope this helps! Enjoy!

I don't normally write product reviews, but I felt obligated to write this one. The MINIamp has changed my life! My wife and I are elderly and quite hard of hearing. Hearing-aids don't do the trick for us. Watching DVD's and other video programs has become quite difficult and unpleasant -- until we found the Behringer MINIAmp, that is. What a joy! It has made a huge difference. The sound is exquisite. My wife was formerly a professional muscian. She, too, raves about the sound. We can distinguish the first and second violins in a string quartet! The unit is simple to use, despite having two input sources and four headphone outputs. The price is truly unbelievable -- a real bargain.

Vox amPlug Classic Rock Guitar Headphone Amp Review

Vox amPlug Classic Rock Guitar Headphone Amp
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Easily the best headphone amplifier I've tried! In the past these things were either full of hiss, smothered in echo, or were little more than glorified fuzz boxes with an Walkman-style headset. (That was definitely the case with Vox's discontinued AC1). The Amplug is different. It plugs right into your guitar's output jack, and has distinct tone, gain, and volume controls. No, this doesn't sound like a 100 Watt Vox head shrunk into a palmsize toy. It DOES sound amazingly like a much larger and more expensive amplifier, with very pleasing and tube-like distortion at higher volumes. It's the "classic rock" model, meaning that it's optimized for the chunky tube-distorted sound of the mid 1970s.
I like the Amplug a lot.
If you're into lead or rhythm guitar in the styles of Free, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, or the Who, you're going to enjoy this as a very valuable and inexpensive practice tool. The sound quality is good enough to use the Amplug as an amp simulator if you want to record your guitar directly to your computer. I think many people would be fooled into thinking you really had a large tube amp if they heard the recording. It's an amazing simulation, and I prefer the tube emulation in it to some digital effects units I've tried. I actually like the fact that it doesn't have built-in reverb as I'd rather use my own reverb when recording than be forced to settle with the built-in type.
Drawbacks? The clean sound is anemic. (This is not the headphone amp to use if you're planning on comping jazz chords with a heavy right hand. I have tried my mandolin with the clean setting and the results were somewhat better due to the double coursed strings.) Also, the Amplug really does require fresh batteries - the sound as the batteries weaken becomes more and more abrasive. As the batteries die, the sound gets progressively irritating. The plug isn't angled, so you're going to have a hard time using this with a Strat-like guitar. (I use a Gibson SG and I don't have this problem). The construction is very lightweight plastic that does not inspire my confidence. For a few dollars more, the Amplug could have a metal chassis that would be very durable. None of these things deter me, because I don't expect miracles from a Japanese-made plastic amp. This is in no way a surrogate for a real amp, such as Vox's own DA5, and is very much a single-trick device - but it does its single trick very well.
I bought the Vox Classic Rock amPlug on a whim in a music store. I'm glad I did! It's helped to excite me once more about playing and practicing daily. The price is definitely right, and the distortion sounds are superb. Buy this with the understanding that no amp can do all things and you'll have a great time with it.

Vox amPlug Metal Guitar Headphone Amp Review

After reading about this gadget from a number of reliable sources, I went ahead and gambled the 40 ducats on it and couldn't be happier. The first time I popped this little doohicky into my Ibanez RG, plugged in the phones, maxed the gain and slowly raised the volume I was nearly slammed into the wall by forcefield of metal madness. I attacked the Phrygian scale then glided into my favorite riffs. Power chords: BANG! Who knew you could get such big amp sound out of this tiny plastic box?
Substitute a plain old minijack cable between the phones jack and anything with speakers and you have an improvised amp with sound as big as the remote speakers allow.
It also has a minijack auxiliary input so you can jam along to your iPod or PC output in virtually total silence. No more annoying neighbors banging on your walls when you get the urge to shred at 2:00 a.m.
It would be nice if there was some reverb on the device, but metal holds up well with big gain so I'm not complaining. The device also has a tendency to swing around while you play -- if you are a highly mobile shredder this might annoy you (but can easily be fixed with a bit of gaffers tape).
If you're on a budget or just want to jam loudly in peace, you could do much worse than this. Throw one in a gig bag with a set of decent phones (and an iPod if you want) and you may as well be carrying a pocket sized amp with you. Note also that this was designed for METAL -- it's all about the gain. If you are looking for something bluesy or some other wimpy sound, consider the other amPlugs.

Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amp Review

Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amp
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this because I have trouble hearing the TV and I've already tried various wireless headphone devices without success. Those that required batteries used them up fast, especially when I didn't remember to turn the unit off. Then, they had to be synced every time I changed the batteries. Others needed to be recharged between sessions and would run dry in the middle of a movie. Others had the hardware built into the headphones making them heavy and requiring replacement of the whole system when the headphones wore out.
Finally I discovered this little headphone amp and I couldn't be happier. To my slightly inadequate ears, it sound very clear and it has far more amplification that I can ever use. My wife uses one of the other outlets occasionally and, of course, there's a couple of spare jacks if I have any hard-of-hearing company. It has a power supply so no more piles of dead batteries.
I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to get a boost or extra ports for any device. It's amplification is far greater than any of the devices I tried that are made for personal music players. Although it has 1/4" output jacks, you can buy 1/4 to 3.5 adapters for pennies on Amazon and have an amp that will work with the more common size for an incredible price.
I'm using the headphone amp at the end of a cheap 30 foot cable but it still works very well and the volume controls are smooth and without static. The amp puts out more sound than my ears can, or should take. Unlike most of the other devices I tried, it has the power to drive any headphones I want, including noise cancelling. Finally I can enjoy a movie and hear what everyone is saying.

Vox AmPlug Bass Guitar Headphone Amp Review

Vox AmPlug Bass Guitar Headphone Amp
Average Reviews:

I recently purchased the Vox AMPlug for Bass, because it was the most compact headphone amp I could find for my travel bass. It truly is a great headphone amp with great sound and great FX. It's got that groovy and classic Vox AC100 bass amp sound that truly inspires. With the right headphones/earphones, I worry that I'm blasting my neighbors. Thankfully they can't hear a thing.
The only initial negative is that the construction is flimsier than it looks. The battery door barely stays on, and the gain, tone and volume "wheels" are hard to see and access.
Aside from that, I highly recommend it.

Tascam CDGT2 Guitar Trainer Review

Tascam CDGT2 Guitar Trainer

I wish they made things like this when I was a kid, I wouldn't have worn so many records out playing the same passages over and over and over. Eight bars..move the needle back...... It got slightly better with cassettes, but not much. This Tascam Guitar trainer is fantastic, I can slow down fast passages and not only be sure I'm getting the notes right, but I can pick up the little nuances that are so often tips to fingerings, hammer ons, pull offs, etc... And, it stays in the same key! Not only that, if you want to learn it in a different key, you can just set the Guitar trainer to play the song in whatever key you want. You don't have to learn it in one key and then transpose in your head.

Vox amPlug AC30 Guitar Headphone Amp Review

Vox amPlug AC30 Guitar Headphone Amp
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I recently discovered this little tone wonder by cruising the guitar effect pedal vids on You Tube. (I discover a lot of new things that way, especially with independent user reviews). The sound of this little effect box was a real eye-opener! Plus, I was looking for something that would be very simple for practicing on the couch, that didn't require connecting a lot of wires or an AC adapter. Everyone seemed to be very positive about it - which has got to mean something.
My gear lust got the best of me, so the next day when I happened to be in Best Buy, I checked with their new music department (!) and there it was, they had several of them. I purchased it on the spot and couldn't wait to get home and tear the wrapper open.
There are almost no instructions included, except to tell you the obvious not to break it. I was a bit worried that it would not fit into the jack cavity on my two Stratocaster's, but it does quite nicely, so obviously that was part of Vox's design criteria.
All the Amplug effect plugs were made to be plug and play as simple as possible. All you need is a set of headphones, and your guitar to be ready to go. The body features a very bright red LED indicator for on/off status, and three tiny embedded pots labeled: gain, tone and volume. That's it!
The most obvious difference between this and any other distortion/amp modeling effects I've tried, is that the Amplug is completely modeled with analog circuitry. There is nothing digital involved. The benefit is like night and day. The unit totally reacts to your playing, and your guitars pick up and volume settings. When you push it hard, it sags a little bit, and pushes back at you like a real amp and does - NOT like a digital model. The effect is uncannily warm and realistic, like a real tube amplifier.
There is one simple headphone output, which is fine for personal listening, but is a bit of a minus for recording. After hearing this thing I definitely decided that I'm going to be using it for a lots of my recording sessions, but it is a little weak in the output department, which adds a little noise to the signal. It's not a horrible issue, and certainly not worse than using a real amplifier, but I wish they could have addressed this and given the output a hi/lo setting. I record with this by using an eighth inch stereo adapter cable from its headphone output to the stereo RCA ins on my mixer.
The unit is powered by two little AAA batteries. I think it goes through them faster than the 15 hour rating, because it's crucial that you use it with full battery power, otherwise the tone suffers. So, if you buy this keep several pairs handy (or better yet use rechargeables.I am giving this a rating of 10 for sound quality simply because it just sounds so good!. It's the closest thing I've ever heard to a real Vox AC30 tube amp, without having the real thing cranked and miked up in a room. The fact that you can have that kind of sound for $40 is pretty unbelievable.
I have had several tube preamps (Hughes & Kettner), a Marshall combo, a Roland VG-88 modeler, and most of the latest guitar amp software - this little unit simply blows them all away. The sound is rich and juicy, without ever becoming shrill or brittle, no matter how you set the controls. The three knobs are extremely touch sensitive; the slightest change makes a huge difference in the sound. I have never had anything that reacts so much to changes in my guitar settings. In fact, before this I always left the volume and tone on my guitars all the way up. You have nearly an infinite variety of sounds from clean to dirty (within the realm of an AC30 - this is definitely not a metal device), and even after hours of playing you'll find yourself discovering juicy new tones from it.
The basic sound is warm yet chimey, like a classic AC30. Roll the gain past 8, and the drive suddenly kicks in and puts you in Brian May territory. So convincing! It can also do cleaner Beatles 60s type sounds.
Every other distortion type effect I've tried (especially in Guitar Rig3 and Amplitube - yuch), simply sounds like a dead layer of brittleness stuck on top of your sound. Usually they don't change depending on how you play and lean in. This is completely different, it's more organic like a real amplifier. Back off and it's clean - push in hard and it really rings and grinds. I was really surprised by how it did that - and I'm wondering why it took so long for any manufacturer to do it right - especially since this is built with older analog technology.
With the tone control up past five there is definitely noise introduced. It's not horrible, and no different than any real amp I've played, but you'd think they could make a modern device a little quieter. It sounds very good with all my guitars and seems to bring out their true character, but it really sounds the best with my Fender Strat with stock single coils. Chime city! With my Les Paul I was able to coax out sounds from buttery smooth to 70s rock. It was easy to get the chunky sound from the beginning of T. Rex's "Bang A Gong" (no digital modeler ever let me do that before), to the blocky rhythm guitar sounds from Thin Lizzy's "The Boy's Are Back In Town".
I was also surprised that it sounds very good with my two bases (a Hamer Cruise Bass and a Thunderbird). With a little low end EQ added into the mix, I was able to get a very warm and satisfying recorded bass sound. Not the SVT I'm looking for, but that's another search....can't wait to try the Amplug Bass when it comes out. The build is made from very light plastic. It looks nice, but it feels a little cheap. I worry that the pots, and the jack are not going to last very long. For something that sounds this good I do wish they could have made it more robust - because I plan on keeping this around for a very long time. Oh well, guess I can't complain for $40. At this price point, if it broke I would definitely go out immediately and buy another. This device is just begging to have a pro-model made that uses the same analog technology, but in a rocksolid floor mount case, with better output options.
I've been playing guitar for longer than I'm going to admit here. My playing and tastes tend to go a little towards the eclectic. I like 70s album rock and progressive styles ranging from Zepplin, to early Genesis to Killing Joke, with a dash of Terje Rypdal. All played with taste of course ;)
Currently, I am primarily concerned with recording in my home studio. For the last few years most of my guitar sounds have been coming from my Roland VG-88, primarily using my own patches that I've spent ages tweaking. I'm not going to put down the VG here, as I plan on keeping it for ever, but since getting the little Amplug AC30 this week and recording with it, the Amplug has now earned it's place as MY sound. It's that good. In fact, I'm going to put my opinion on the line and say that this device with my two Strats is possibly one of the best guitar sounds I have ever heard. At least coming from my hands anyways....
In my studio instead of plugging it into my guitar, I have it plugged into the output jack of an MXR 10 band EQ so it can always stay in one place, with an adapter cord going from it to my mixer. My guitars plug into the MXR pedal. Don't think you can put another distortion pedal in front of it - it can't handle any type of boost in the sound and will break up in the most horrible brittle way. The MXR EQ is just tweeaked ever so slightly to remove a bit of middle and add top end.
It's very important to remember to change the batteries as soon as the light begins to dim, otherwise the sound loses its character and becomes very thin and brittle as well. Keep several sets handy. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that a $40 pedal has become my signature sound - but it's the truth. I plan to try out the other Amplug flavors, and maybe collect most of them, but the AC30 seems to be the most versatile as it can go from clean to dirty.
Oh yes, one more useful thing that I've discovered about it: if you turn the bright red LED on and and hold it by the jack plug right up to somebody's face, and tell them it's a small personal Taser device, they tend to jerk back really quick as it's really very convincing at that too....
