But it works great. No hiccups while streaming 6 channels at once into Garageband. Amazing at the price.

Yamaha DD65 Digital Drum Pad Review

(More customer reviews)First off this is NOT a replacement for a real drumkit. It's more of a portable mini kit to take around with you where you want. Much like a guitarist's mini backpack guitar. The built in speakers do the job but if you want better sound, plug in to an external audio source. IT has 50 preset drum kits and 100 play along songs in a range of styles which can be fun to practice to. The kit samples are decent. And there is a nice mix of styles to choose. The pads look sturdy, not sure how they'll hold up over time but we'll see.
The sensitivity can be adjusted to 3 levels 0-1-2. Frankly I didnt notice a whole lot of difference between mode 0 and mode 1 but mode 2 I did notice a slightly more responsive hit when I tapped the pads. If purchasing this i'd consider getting soft tip lightweight sticks or maybe rigging a pair with foam on the tips to preserve the pads and prevent banging up the unit.
The layout of the kit is much better then the dd-55. When playing it I tilt it slightly clockwise so the right bottom end points in between my legs, feels very natural. The pedals provided are not the best but you can upgrade to better full size electronic pedals if you like. But for the purpose I use it for, the provided pedals are just fine. There is a hand percussion mode which when activated brings up the bongo and conga kit. You can then play with your hands which is a nice add on feature.
Im giving it a 4. If it had better sounding speakers and better pedals id give it a five. If you're just starting out i'd recommend getting a full size acoustic or electric kit. But if you know how to play and want a compact light weight mini kit to tote around to friends houses, this is the perfect solution.

(More customer reviews)I don't normally write product reviews, but I felt obligated to write this one. The MINIamp has changed my life! My wife and I are elderly and quite hard of hearing. Hearing-aids don't do the trick for us. Watching DVD's and other video programs has become quite difficult and unpleasant -- until we found the Behringer MINIAmp, that is. What a joy! It has made a huge difference. The sound is exquisite. My wife was formerly a professional muscian. She, too, raves about the sound. We can distinguish the first and second violins in a string quartet! The unit is simple to use, despite having two input sources and four headphone outputs. The price is truly unbelievable -- a real bargain.

Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amp Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this because I have trouble hearing the TV and I've already tried various wireless headphone devices without success. Those that required batteries used them up fast, especially when I didn't remember to turn the unit off. Then, they had to be synced every time I changed the batteries. Others needed to be recharged between sessions and would run dry in the middle of a movie. Others had the hardware built into the headphones making them heavy and requiring replacement of the whole system when the headphones wore out.
Finally I discovered this little headphone amp and I couldn't be happier. To my slightly inadequate ears, it sound very clear and it has far more amplification that I can ever use. My wife uses one of the other outlets occasionally and, of course, there's a couple of spare jacks if I have any hard-of-hearing company. It has a power supply so no more piles of dead batteries.
I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to get a boost or extra ports for any device. It's amplification is far greater than any of the devices I tried that are made for personal music players. Although it has 1/4" output jacks, you can buy 1/4 to 3.5 adapters for pennies on Amazon and have an amp that will work with the more common size for an incredible price.
I'm using the headphone amp at the end of a cheap 30 foot cable but it still works very well and the volume controls are smooth and without static. The amp puts out more sound than my ears can, or should take. Unlike most of the other devices I tried, it has the power to drive any headphones I want, including noise cancelling. Finally I can enjoy a movie and hear what everyone is saying.
