(More customer reviews)I don't normally write product reviews, but I felt obligated to write this one. The MINIamp has changed my life! My wife and I are elderly and quite hard of hearing. Hearing-aids don't do the trick for us. Watching DVD's and other video programs has become quite difficult and unpleasant -- until we found the Behringer MINIAmp, that is. What a joy! It has made a huge difference. The sound is exquisite. My wife was formerly a professional muscian. She, too, raves about the sound. We can distinguish the first and second violins in a string quartet! The unit is simple to use, despite having two input sources and four headphone outputs. The price is truly unbelievable -- a real bargain.

If you're tracking more than one musician at a time, or if everyone in a group wants to listen to a playback, you need a monitor distribution system. The compact, flexible AMP800 can power up to eight pairs of headphones and up to two different stereo mixes.

The AMP800 features four totally independent stereo high-power amplifier sections, each with dual outputs. You can use the phones level control plus the accurate 6-digit LED output meter per channel for easy level monitoring. There are two balanced stereo main inputs with independent Level and Balance controls for individual mixes, selectable for all four headphone amplifiers.
If you must accommodate more than eight listeners, a parallel Link Output enables cascading of several AMP800s.
