Jet City Amplification JCA48S 4x12-inch Guitar Speaker Cabinet Review

Jet City Amplification JCA48S 4x12-inch Guitar Speaker Cabinet

I've only had the cab for a few weeks but for the price, it's the best I could find. It has a lot of low end, crisp highs, and great breakup. I play rock, metal, blues, stuff that switches from clean to distorted a lot, and this cab is perfect.

4 x 12-inch Extension Cabinet w/Eminence Speaker. This is the same design as Soldano\'s signature 4×12, and we\'ve loaded it with Jet City Custom Eminence Drivers and added switchable mono / stereo operation. JCA20H sounds big and mean when it moves a lot of air through this cabinet, but pair it with JCA100H and really experience what a high-gain half stack can do.

ZT Lunchbox 1x6.5 8ohm Extension Cabinet Review

ZT Lunchbox 1x6.5 8ohm Extension Cabinet

I have the lunch box amp, I just wanted to add a little more bottom and if this makes sense a fuller, robuust sound. I also liked the amp so much the thought of maing a Mini Stack was irresistable. I works great, is light, and does not add too much wieght to my over all rig. I have actually used it with my Mesa Trans Atlantic and found it to be quite versatile. An A/B Switch coudl really open up a lot of tonal possibilities. Great product. not a gimmick, does the job well!

The ZT Lunchbox Cab is built on the platform of our highly acclaimed Lunchbox amplifier. It\'s a Lunchbox without the amp\'a passive extension speaker, with the same solid-as-a-brick cabinet housing the same custom-design 6.5" driver used in the Lunchbox amp.Weighing less than 7 pounds, the Cab can blast out over 120dB, and sounds great doing it. The Cab also features a phase switch to provide accuracy in any situation.Connect the Cab to the Lunchbox amp\'s external speaker output and build a Lunchbox stack (it\'s adorable\'like ferocious puppies or kittens!). Or spread them apart a few feet to create spatial imaging. Or go further and put them on opposite sides of the stage and give your sound a dimension that will make the crowd\'s heads swim.Sure, bigger cabinets can sound great – but do you really need them now?

Krankenstein Plus 120-Watt Tube Guitar Head with Black Grill Review

Krankenstein Plus 120-Watt Tube Guitar Head with Black Grill
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It took me a lot of experimenting to get the sounds I wanted, which is similar to Fear Factory or Brujeria. After reading through several forums I was able to dial in a good chunky tone. The klean channel doesn't get much use because turning down the volume of the guitar on the high gain channel gives me the clean sounds I want.

Hartke LH500 Bass Guitar Amplifier Head Review

Hartke LH500 Bass Guitar Amplifier Head
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
i played this head today with the Hartke VX410 cab, with my Fender Jazz bass, and i will be purchasing it very soon.
as soon as i plugged in and tweaked the EQ to what i wanted and turned up the volume,
it was EXACTLY what i've been looking for in an amp!! i've been looking for months,
with little success til i came across this gem! the controls are very simple
(four knobs, two buttons and a power switch) but the tone and range of this head is amazing.
so, to sum up; plenty of power, easy to use/simple design, decent price for a working, intermediate level
musician like myself. this head and the VX410 cab together, with tax, is right around $700. and i can almost
guarantee you won't find a better amp of this size for less than that. if you're looking for something for
mid-size venues, even larger venues; give this amp a chance! i don't think you'll regret it. thanks so much Hartke!!!!

Crate Blackheart BH112 Little Giant 1X12 Guitar Cabinet Review

Crate Blackheart BH112 Little Giant 1X12 Guitar Cabinet
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although I love this cabinet for its price tag and its excellent construction, the speaker is a bit harsh sounding. I understand that part of this has to do with the cab being closed, but I wish it sounded a bit sweeter, and I know it could with the right speaker. That said, for the price, you can't complain, since you can afford a speaker swap with all the money you save on the cab. One more thing, this cabinet is pretty much the exact same size as the Epiphone Valve Junior Extension Cabinet, 1x12, the Epiphone might be a couple millimeters larger. That's great because both are inexpensive (but well made) 16-ohm cabs loaded with Eminence speakers, but the Epiphone is an open cabinet. They can form a mini stack or sit side by side and play nice with each other. As for how they sound, I think the Epiphone sounds better with the stock speaker, but find that the construction of the Blackheart is superior, so it would make a great choice for speaker upgrades.

Blackheart Engineering? instruments are all tube, old-school amplifiers that are built like tanks and sound as good as amps costing multiple times the price. They look cool, they exude attitude and they don't EVER compromise tone

I have been looking around for this cabinete for a while but just couldn't find the price I wanted. Then amazon popped up with the lowest price with what I thought was a used item. When it arrived, and perfect timing I might add because I needed it for a gig, it was brand new in the box. Brand new for a used price! I am very happy with this purchase and will be looking for more music equipment on Amazon in the future!
