(More customer reviews)I bought this to go along with a Jet City JCA20H head, and this is really a good fit. This overdrive doesn't have the overwhelming mids that most do. It really leaves good high/low string clarity as you use it for blues, and if your pickups are a little muddy, the bright switch helps bring out the definition. When the JCA20H's gain is maxed it for a more metal tone, this really chunks up the distortion, and gives it that bite you are looking for in metal. Maybe not nu metal, but 80's to 90's metal. I must say, I'm impressed.
