I have been working on guitars for way too long to not have had one of these work benches years ago...If you Play guitar, Repair guitars or Polish guitars and who doesn't, then this case is made for us all... It's right in line with the Ultra Case that sells for $450.00 and really has all the same functions minus some of the super heavy duty road qualities that any at home user would never need. For $69.95, you can't build one any cheaper if you tried. I've had my electric guitar on it, my bass on it and my acoustic guitar on it. Because the lower bout on acoustics are wider than the case, the acoustic body sticks out of one of the sides a touch where it sits which actually works better because the slight angle leans the guitar towards you as your working on it!
I love the storage compartments and how the case latch doubles as the latch that locks the guitar neck tower when raised for use. It's so great to put all of my tools, strings, tuner, wipe cloths and accessories in the case and close it up when your done working and not have to put every thing away in different places, and then gather everything all over again the next time you need to work on your instrument. That convenience alone makes this unit a must have. I would say it's as important as any tool you've ever purchased for your guitar care, only, you don't know it until you have one! This work station is one of the best investments that I've made in a long time and it's built for life, so I plan on enjoying it forever!!! Thanks Grundorf!!!
