(More customer reviews)I play in the Austin TX area with a multitude of Acts. The scene is chaotic at best. Most of the time there is no control over what is in the monitor mix. (If there is one at all) Often using substandard equipment. The first night I used it, I noticed a difference right away on the drive home noting that I was not horse. I've been using it for about three weeks now and I've grown quite addicted to it. I also have used it for a fiddle monitor as well. I find the instrument input a bit weak. I usually have to have almost all the way up compared to the vocal level. (I am using a preamp) I also would like to have a three band EQ instead of a a two band EQ. For my ear, the mid level can make or break an effective monitor tone. (speaking in general, not just about this monitor.) If the mid level is not right, then often you have to turn the monitor up louder to hear yourself. A good mid level can mean keeping the volume down. In the end, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend this to others.
