I purchased this pedal through amazon about 2 weeks ago and after thorough testing, I figured an honest assessment from an actual musician was in order. I purchased this pedal primarily for its stereo functionality (i.e. use with a keyboard.)
Functionality: This pedal works as advertised. The crybaby, mega-wah, trig, and auto-wah functions are all unique and have various settings that allow the user to produce a wide variety of wah sounds. The Crybaby setting is a very vanilla sounding wah by comparison to the mega-wah setting which has far more pronounced bass on the low end. The trig-wah and auto-wah are also nice features despite their relatively limited use in the vast majority of music. The reverse/normal toggle in stereo mode is perhaps my favorite feature that is unique to this particular pedal. The volume control, while being a nice feature, is not really practical because lets face it, you didn't just spend 199$ on a wah pedal just to use it as a mediocre volume pedal.
Design: The pedal is well constructed with an all aluminum shell and pedal. The odd shape of the actual pedal is not an issue which was one of my original concerns when purchasing this item. The controls are rather intuitive and well positioned. My one complaint is the location of the A/C adapter port being located on the side of the pedal as opposed to the back of it.
Verdict: While this is probably the most versatile wah pedal on the market, It is not free of shortcomings. The battery life is next to nothing (4-6 hrs) and, as I mentioned earlier, the A/C port location is less than ideal. If you can get past this and the 199$ price tag, I would recommend this pedal to any keyboard/guitar player looking for a wah pedal with plenty of features.
