(More customer reviews)I had been saving up to purchase this bundle, on my meager musician's wages, hoping someday to be able to afford the smorgasbord of effects included within--not only every guitar amp/speaker/stomp box combo you could dream of, but, more importantly to me, ten pro-level plug-in effects (compressors, equalizers, reverbs, de-essers, limiters, etc.) useful in both initial mixdown and mastering. When I saw that it was available for less than $200 I couldn't resist. These two packages together represent a large percentage of what's necessary to elevate a home, entry-level digital studio to a semi-pro facility, all contained within a tiny fraction of your hard drive, for a tiny fraction of what this would have cost in the real world even five years ago. Waves is rightly recognized as a leading innovator in virtual audio production, and for anyone looking to upgrade from in-the-box effects that come with any DAW, this is too good a deal to pass up. Looks like all these audio software companies are feeling the economic pinch and lowering prices accordingly. My only complaint was having to purchase the iLok key separately ($35) to actually activate the product. Still, lots of bang for the buck.
