I seem to play my guitar alot after 11PM and this way, I can do so without bothering anyone else in the house. It has a very nice sound for something that you use with headphones and allows you to plug into your PC or MP3 player and play along with whatever music you want play along with.
I have found that it is quite battery friendly. I am still using the original batteries that came with it and have used it for at least an hour a day since I got it over a month ago.
