(More customer reviews)Very nice amp. Don't let the 15 watts deceive you. This baby can pump with the bigger boys due in part to it's 12" driver. The tone is very warm and clean whether I'm using an electric guitar or classical. ( I don't use the overdrive side as I have my own effects rack ) Amp seems to be more heavier on the bass side. You can really feel it especially in a smaller room. The 3 band eq helps to even things out a bit but if you're looking for "tingling highs", you should look elsewhere. All in all, this is a good practice amp that you can even take with you to smaller gigs.

Like the FlexWave15, FlexWave15R is a compact, two-channel 15-watt combo that gives you awesome clean and blistering distortion tones, thanks in no small part to our FlexWave Evolution 5 preamp with patented Sequential Cascading Gain technology. FlexWave15R has a 12" speaker optimized for maximum efficiency with the highly engineered closed-back cabinet, producing a loud and punchy thump youd swear came from a half stack.
A stereo input lets you jack in a CD or MP3 player and jam along with your favorite songs, while a headphone jack lets you practice at any hour, without the police knowing your address from memory. Onboard 3-band EQ provides dynamic tone control, while the external output can power an additional speaker, so you can carry it with ease. And it has a great sounding built in reverb so you can get your surf on. Cowabunga!
Crate's new FlexWave Series reinvents the old-school solid state amp as a modern, fire-breathing tone monster capable of producing the saturated overdrive today's guitarists demand. FlexWave amps feature the remarkably responsive Evolution 5 preamp, as well as Sequential Cascading Gain technology for rich, articulate tone and playability, and Channel Tracking that remembers your effects settings when you switch between channels. Capable of producing a wide array of sounds from crystal clear cleans to white-knucle distortion, FlexWave proves there is no better value around.
