(More customer reviews)This guitar is a reasonably priced Telecaster clone that requires upgrading in order to be easily playable. It needs the following adjustments: 1) The frets need to be leveled and dressed. 2) The nut string heights need adjustment. 3) The truss rod needs to be adjusted. 4) The action then needs to be lowered by adjusting the bridge height and the neck angle might need a slight adjustment. 5) String intonation then must be adjusted. 6) The height of the pickups must then be properly adjusted. These six adjustments are necessary to make this guitar fairly easy to play. Additionally, it might be a good idea to refinish the neck with a smooth and shiny lacquer. A professional would charge maybe $300 to $400 to do such upgrading. Be aware that even if you purchased a high end Telecaster most of the above upgrading would be needed to get the guitar to the easiest playing level! A beginning guitar player would also benifit greatly by changing the strings to the flatwound variety. Don't be discouraged though.
