(More customer reviews)I've been working in IT and technology for many years and never have I come across a product that was less user friendly to install or had such overkill in terms of authorising the product. It has a number of product codes to enter and then requires you to register online and get another authorisation code which has to be entered. It throws up error messages during the install relating to missing VST libraries and missing registry entries (I'm using Windows 7). The product comes in two parts, the base Amplitude and the Jimi Hendrix add on. Both require the same tedious registration. To add insult to injury, the IK Multimedia web site won't let me register the Jimi Hendrix component of the software because it already has someone registered with the same serial number 11 days before it was shipped to me by Musician's Friend. What a nightmare. If you don't mind a lot of fiddling about, this may be the package for you.
