The matching transformer audio adapter to connect microphone with the amplifier is an XLR connector with 1/4" (6.35mm) phone jack (Radio Shack item #274-01.) We discovered and were able to purchase missing adapter before Christmas day. System works great and our Granddaughter was elated with the system
