(More customer reviews)Judging by the descriptions, not sure this was meant as a toy, but not sure what to call it as it is not being used as a drum trainer. Our 10 year old son is interested in music, but hasn't started in any formal music lessons. He likes to use this with his headphones and drum along with the music. The only issue is that with the hard plastic surrounding the rubber pads, when he misses, it is louder than we'd like. Still, so far it has been fun for our son to play and spends significant time finding new tunes and new drum patterns.
